Retro Suite · Stylish Vintage 3-Room Apartment in Central Zürich

Positive: Loved the retro interior! Good communication from Cosy Stay. The apartment was easy to find, 30 minute walk to the centre of Zurich Negative: The floor needs a good deep clean; our feet were dirty after walking on it with bare feet!

We had a great time, would recommend Positive: It was very clean and beautifully decorated. Negative: It was uncomfortably hot.

Stylist and comfortable. Positive: The style and location of the apartment for us was rather wonderful. It was a great base for visiting the city and spending time with our family. It was a pleasure to go back to in the evenings, and the surrounding area was quiet and felt safe. The beds, pillows and linen were exceptionally comfortable and the shower was excellent. The kitchen was reasonably well stocked, with coffee, tea, and a gift to help kurb the hunger when you first arrive. WiFi and access arrangements were good. All this compared very positively with other accommodation provision in the city which are often very sparse on such facilities. Negative: There was a distinct lack of power sockets and so a need for numerous extension cables, although the owners did provide these. It is worth noting that, as a ground floor apartment privacy is only possible by pulling the shutters all the way down, which makes the apartment very dark. Some blinds that allow for light but give privacy would benefit this quality of this apartment tremendously. Also above the Retro Apartment is the Cosy Stay Family Apartment, so you get a lot of footfall noise if that is occupied. We are also hosts in the UK and sadly we did find the communication inhospitable. The iron (these types of facilities are shared and stored in the basement although you have to message to find this out) was not where we were told it should be. It took 2 days of messaging including sending photographs before the host finally believed that it was missing. It was then brought to us by cleaners. The tone was brusque throughout and we recieved no apology.
